Day 01: Salta, Humahuaca Gully.

Early departure from Salta City to Jujuy province, arriving to Humahuaca Gully, declared of World Heritage by UNESCO. Arrival to Purmamarca, known for its seven colour hill. Hotel night in Purmamarca.

Day 2: Purmamarca, Salinas Grandes, El Moreno. Breakfast.

Departure in the morning towards El Moreno, previous ascent of the Lipan Slope, visit to Salinas Grandes. Arrival to El Moreno (12467 ft) Camping Night. (B; BXL; S; D)

Day 3: El Moreno. Breakfast.

Light trekking to get acclimatized. Camping night at El Moreno. (B; BXL; S; D)

Day 4: El Moreno, Campo Mina, Refugio del Diablo.

Breakfast. Early in the morning we go in vehicle towards Campo Mina (14042 ft) then the trekking to ‘El Diablo’ Shelter. Camping Night. (B; BXL; S; D)

Day 5: Ascent to the Summit.

Attempt of the summit of Chañi (19344 ft) After the achieved the descent starts to Campo Mina. Transfer in vehicle to El Moreno. Camping Night. (B; BXL; S; D)

Day 6: El Moreno, San Antonio de los Cobres, Salta.

Transfer to Salta city towards the national route 40. Continue to San Antonio de los Cobres, typical town of the puna salteña. Lunch. The trip goes on by the route 51 entering the Quebrada del Toro parallel to the famous Tren de las Nubes railways. Arrival to Salta City. Hotel night. (B)

Notes:
1 or 2 more days must be foreseen, either because of bad weather or necessary to get correctly acclimatized. Both circumstances will judged by the expedition guides.
